Sound Artillery had it's first digital release 2 years ago this month. Since then it's been growing. 1 year ago was the first of many vinyl releases. Now, we're two years old and the 4th 12" release promos are available now from all good record stockists.

To get you in the mood here's the review, written by word weaving badman... Khal.

Following up the massive acclaim that Sound Artillery 003 received, 004 is upon us, featuring two collaborations Blal has completed.

The A side finds Blal & Megadrummer going straight for the jugular with ''Long Way Home'', which comes off like the soundtrack to a trek a gang or an army platoon has to make from one checkpoint to the next, traversing over enemy regions on a long journey. Distorted bass, neck-snapping beats and a host of found sounds create a rugged vibe that harkens back to some of the nastier neuro tunes from the late 90's.

''Moody Skies'' keeps the pressure mounting, with Blal & The Ripper taking the battle to the air, fending off enemy fighter jets and dodging space rocks while trying to finish the mission at hand. This one has a slick vibe, with some memorable washes creating an urgent tone over the track as a whole. Another seething cut that is a treat for fans of the tech-y vibes, but also remembers ''the good ol' days''. Sound Artillery is definitely on a roll!
